Where It Started
In 2004 Burrowes Park Mayonnaise debuted in Melbourne gourmet shop fridges, bringing fresh, handmade mayonnaise without artificial additives to a loyal, niche market. In 2017, we acquired the business from its founder, bought a farm in Victoria's Central Highlands, and envisioned a future where the farm would support our production of Burrowes Park Mayonnaise and other farm produce lead treats.

Duck Egg Mayonnaise
Since taking over the business, our mayonnaises have earned multiple Australian Food Awards, with our first Gold medal coming in 2019. The challenges of COVID in 2020 required us to close our Cheltenham facility and expedite construction on our farm, but we persevered, relocating our manufacturing to the farm and expanding our vision.
In 2021, we experimented with the duck eggs produced on our farm, crafting a miso-flavoured mayonnaise that was so well-received it won an AFA Gold Medal on it's first entry! This innovation led us to become Australia’s first commercial producer of duck egg mayonnaise, offering a truly unique taste and texture experience, and winning a slew of new medals! (Oh, and turning us into commercial duck farmers too!)
We've come a long way from the Mayo business we took over in 2017, and now it's time for a new way forward!
